Back home!!

Hiya!!

From now on (well, until Australia anyway) I'll leave some messages in english on my website to keep in touch with everyone in Ireland..handy eh? Yea, yea, I'll keep texting you and all, but if you feel like it you can read my messages and leave a message for me..

How are you all? Everything is ok here. Portugal was absolutely fantastic!! We had nice weather [except the last day] and we had a lovely time. Spent the whole day on the beach on friday (how bad...) and out for dinner in the evening. Had a lovely cocktail, looking at the sunset after the beach. We went to see a little village on saturday, wasn't much going on there, so we went to Faro after that. Was nice and yet again, a lovely drink outside in the sun waiting for Marlous and Stephen to arrive. We collected them at the airport and out for dinner again after. Sunday was my parents anniversary and we spent the day at the resort, mini golf, swimming, etc. Late afternoon we went to Albufeira and had a lovely dinner there..That was my our last night..Our flight wasn't til 8 on Monday, so we went to Zoomarine, was lovely..Dolphins and sea lions and all, they had shows and everything, so that was nice too. Flight home was grand, we had 30 mins delay, but made up for that during the flight because of the direction of the wind or something. (we were flying 1000 km/h!!!)

On Tuesday I went to see my nan and we could actually sit outside! Yes, in October in Holland and we were enjoying the sunshine!!!!! We were chatting for ages, so that was nice. Wasn't my lucky day tho, Im such an eejit..fell off my bike (yea, that's what you get if you don't cycle every day in Ireland, haha) and later the key from the lock of my bike broke. Of course when it was locked, so couldn't open it and had to walk home then. Late afternoon my friends called over to say welcome home and we had dinner together and all. Was soooooo nice to see them again!!!!

On Wednesday I collected my cousins from school and spent the day with them and my aunt. They were so happy to see me again, it was so sweet!!! Got lots of hugs and kisses and had a very good time.

Today (thursday) was a bit more quiet..only a bit tho, haha! Went to the town centre to get a few things, did the ironing, etc. And worked on my thesis of course. Send my CV to a tour operator where I used to work and have a chance of getting a job there!! Hope it'll work out, cause that would be great! Went to the chinese with my dad, grandad, granny, aunt and uncle too. Was very nice! The Dutch chinese is so different from the Irish one, believe it or not..haha!

So my first few days in Holland were very nice. Getting used to it again now and hope I'll get that job, so I'll get some money.:) Gonna work on my thesis a lot from now on. Tomorrow is going to be a thesis day I think and it's my cousins birthday on Saturday. Promised to do her hair and all, so 'have to' be there at 10. But I'll see my other cousins again then too and the rest of the family, so will probably be a lovely day too.

And Kim...can't wait til November now!!! So looking forward to you coming over! Miss you loads, but we'll have a good time when you're here, won't we? :) And when I'm in Ireland of course! :) :)

And Hilary..it's so quiet without the kids around me..I really miss them and you of course..Alony with my dad here and it's weird not to have someone to talk to..I really had a lovely time with ye over the summer, thanks again! Give the children a big, huge hug and kiss from me again..And Happy Birthday for Conor! :) Hope you had a nice day!
